19/05/10. Girls from the U13 team received their medals for winning the LCWHA 7-a-side League. It is the first time in the clubs history that the U13s have won the League congratulations to all those who played.
12/5/2010. Club will be assessed for ClubFirst on Wednesday 19th May 2010 , 6-8pm, at Preston College.
10/5/2010. Pre-season Hockey Training Wednesdays at Myerscough College 7.30- 9pm Starts Wednesday 7th July.
5/5/2010. Juniors host Dutch club VHV Sjinborn.On Sunday 2nd May Springfields UCLAN HC organised a Junior Tournament at Stanley Park, Blackpool upon the request of a Dutch club on tour in the area. Springfields UCLAN HC U13 and U11 mixed sides played games against VHV Sjinborn, from Holland, and Pendle Forest Ladies HC. U15 games were also organised with Clitheroe Ladies HC, Pendle Forest Ladies HC and Lytham HC boys providing opposition for the Dutch girls. The sun shone most of the time and the large, and noisy, group of Dutch travelling supporters really enjoyed their day out in Blackpool. The juniors played some excellent hockey and learnt a lesson or two from their Dutch counterparts, as well as how tall and athletic they were even at that young age !

13/4/2010. Girls U13 are League Champions : Congratulations are due to our U13 Girls who won the LCWHA 7-a-side League on Sunday for the first time in the Club’s history! There is some real talent in this team which bodes well for the future! Watch out for these names:- Hannah Nutter ( GK ), Nicola Seechurn, Sophie Lockwood, Hannah Denison, Josie Coffey, Maxine Smith, Megan Hall, Jenny Shepherd, Emily Carpenter, Emma Coffey
30/03/10 - Ladies Promoted to National League !
After leaders Ben Rhydding sensationally dropped points, the Ladies 1st team entered the final stage of the season needing to win their last two games to win the Northern Premier League and enter the National League for the first time in their history. A 3-2 home victory over Preston with goals from Holly, Leanne, and Hannah set up an encounter at Wigton the following day. The girls in gold held their nerve and with massive support from the travelling pineapple, finished in style with a 6-1 victory. Goals were scored by Hannah, Dawn, Emma (2) and Leanne (2). Huge congratulations and thanks to everyone who played their part this season.
